Achievements of the National Solidarity Fund, together with other parties, have allowed many gray areas to open up in favor of establishing a basic infrastructure and introducing appropriate various community facilities and all basic amenities. The DSF has contributed greatly to radically change the reality of the areas in which he intervened. It would have helped 1879 to open up shadows, saving 297 000 families, more than one million 487 thousand persons, the precarious conditions in which they lived by offering, in addition, favorable living conditions and basic amenities that have changed their situation and promoted their quality of life.
The Fund would have mobilized during the period from 1993 to 2010, a budget exceeding the 997 MD. An envelope that allowed the construction of over 40,500 decent housing, rehabilitation and improvement of 29,444 other accommodation on appropriations of about 231.228 MD.
The DSF has also conducted management of 4602 km of roads and tracks which 3717 km were asphalted at a cost of 234.785 MD. Besides the drinking water of 86.600 families, most of whom live in rural areas, construction of schools, connecting more than 73,500 families to the grid, the construction and equipping of 141 basic health centers, the contribution to the financing of over 63 000 projects to create revenue streams for a total of 93.345 3.856 MD MD with the benefit of the beneficiaries of 1205 affected the agricultural sector in 2009, following the damage caused by flooding in the governorates of Gafsa, Tozeur, and Kasserine.
In addition, the NSF has built and performed 100 libraries and 250 computer units and 84 mini-stadiums, playgrounds and 306 spaces for recreation. Best, 26 to 26 contributed, during the period 2007/2009, as part of the implementation of the decision of the Head of State announced Dec. 9, 2006, financing of the presidential program of promotion of 26 districts, located around large cities. Neighborhoods with more than 32 000 dwellings housing more than 166,000 people have benefited from interventions NTF estimated at 75 MD, for a total budget of 114.525 MD. Intervention which was made possible thanks to the introduction of a supplementary program covering the years 2010/2012, on 56 other popular areas for a budget of about 150 MD, to which the Fund contributes $ 111 MD.
