For women Tunisian Code of Personal Status has come to announce the emergence of a new family. The CSP is also considered one of the founding acts of an independent nation and united around core values such as law and equality. It is the centerpiece of the building of the independent Republic of Tunisia, its identity, its character and its roots in modernity. Through the CSP, Tunisia is an exception dan the Arab-Muslim world, because some of the gains made for women, such as the abolition of polygamy or the right to adoption, still to this day only Tunisians.
